Fieldmate Studio was created by Jana Astrouski and Kyle Helmond, partners in life and photography, united by a love for capturing authentic moments. Combining Kyle’s background in nature and portrait photography—recognized by National Geographic and Sony Alpha Universe—and Jana’s experience with interiors, branding, and commercial imagery, they bring a balanced approach to their work. Specializing in natural light, Fieldmate Studio creates elevated, timeless visuals that resonate with clients who prioritize authenticity.
Their wedding photography journey began in 2020 with a small, intimate ceremony, where only the bride and groom’s parents watched through an iPhone. The experience felt effortless, with their distinct styles complementing one another. Today, Jana and Kyle continue to work together on a variety of projects, from documenting engagements and weddings to creating branding and commercial imagery.
